Market Update---Week 50
Shineskin:The quantity of raw materials with low pesticide residues is limited, the prices are very firm. Demand is good and there are no signs of price decline. However, considering the overall large crop size, there is limited room for price increase. It is expected that the prices will remain stable in January and February.
Organic shineskin: Market is firm. The Northeast area only has 5,000 tons of raw materials, which is relatively scarce, therefore prices are unlikely to decrease and may continue to rise.
Walnut:The price of walnut is very firm. The current price of walnut kernels in the US is at the level of $8,000 per ton, therefore, the international market still has a significant demand for Chinese walnuts. Only approximately 40% of the raw materials remain in the market, and the 2024 season is expected to end earlier next year, possibly in June.
Sunflowerseeds: Due to the recent low demand both domestic and oversea market, the price of sunflower seeds is stable. However, there is a shortage of large-sized and high-quality sunflower seeds, this part of raw materials will not fall.
